Summary
Amy Rose lives in an impoverished mining town outside of a major city. Times are hard as famine plagues the land, and with a child on the way, Amy feels forced to do the unthinkable.
A nobleman and vampire, Shadow saves her from herself on the stipulation that she becomes a blood servant to him. Shadow is a picky eater and prefers his blood happy and healthy.
Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are in town on a mission, requested to them by Vanilla, concerning the whereabouts of her long missing daughter Cream. As vampire hunters they travel town to town eradicating the blood drinkers that have taken root.
While these three make an amazing team, Sonic has a secret that may put the three in jeopardy when Silver joins the hunt.

Honestly, it would be easier and faster to list the things that he’s not great at, even if the list was small.

In the back, the black werehog had his back arched, a heavy curtain of smoky breath puffing in front of him. His breathing was heavy, constant, eager. The red eyes glowed in the dark, heavy, hungry. Something he had never seen in the other until now.
His own tongue began to feel heavy in his mouth. The scent invaded his senses in a way that made his head feel heavy. His body shuddered with every small step he took toward the other. He took a deep breath. The squirrel was no longer there. It was just the two of them.
Shadow furrowed his brow, baring his teeth, not in a threat. It was something Sonic hadn't seen until now.
