As the ten year anniversary looms over the wizarding world, Harry Potter is adjusting to his new position of Head Auror and juggling life as a single dad, newly divorced and a pile of paperwork that Robards left on the desk. The last thing he expected was that he would find a report on Pansy Parkinson, former Death Eater supporter and now reformed fashion consultant.
Opening the file and finding an increasing number of threats to his former classmate was certainly not on the list for his week.
Then again, Pansy Parkinson was more than okay with never seeing the bloody Chosen One again in her life. Even if it meant that he was there in an attempt to save her life.

“A favour?” he mimics, rolling the word around his mouth.
“A favourable arrangement,” she amends. “I get access to my full inheritance, you get a witch who will look the other way. You’ll have every freedom. Think of the witches that will throw themselves at you, and your wife won’t say a damned thing. Not many wizards in the whole of Britain can say that.”

She snaps her mouth closed and forces the words out between clenched teeth. “I’m sorry.”
“Mm. What do you think, Harry? Think her apology was sincere?” Her Professor looks over his shoulder at his son.
Harry comes forward into view, looking down at Pansy. “No, I don’t think she was.” He moves to stand behind her and his hands find her shoulders. He shoves her down until her knees buckle and Professor Potter has to let go of her wrist.
“You want me to beg on my knees, Professor?” Pansy snaps.
He smirks down at her. “I have other ideas for that mouth, Miss Parkinson.” He undoes his belt buckle; his zipper and her heavy breathing the only sounds in the room.

After all, we have seen a consistent lack of call to action, a systemic problem of under-representation of minority populations, such as werewolves, house-elves, and even Squibs over the past decades. When you add those together and add in the reality that they are promoting the Chosen One for what can only be explained as a popularity contest...
The question needs to be asked to the Wizengamot: Has the Ministry turned into something that no longer serves the people? Are the Aurors still protecting the people or simply allowing those abusing their people and corrupting the system?
