Summary
From the moment she could walk, Rumi knew exactly who she was supposed to be - who the world NEEDED her to be. She was meant to be a pop star, entertaining the masses, following in the footsteps of her mother before her. She was meant to be a hunter, protecting the masses from all of demon-kind. She was meant to be the end, the final nail in the coffin that would bury Gwi-Ma once and for all.
And she was.
The war was over. They won! The world was safe now, and the girls of HUNTR/X finally had space to breathe again... and with that, Rumi also had the space to figure out who she wanted to be. Rumi had spent so much time molding herself to what the world wanted, she didn't know what it meant to just BE Rumi. Not the pop star, the huntress the savior, just... Rumi.

Catra has finally freed herself from the oppressive household of Sharon Weaver. Now independent, she's eager to work her way up and prove to everyone who doubted her that she's more than anyone thought she would amount to. She's ready to move forward with her life.
The past isn't quite ready to let her go, however, and when Catra is reunited with Adora after years apart, her world gets shaken in more ways than she's prepared for.

Summary
"I'm almost done, Rumi," Mira said.
Rumi simply whined in response, too far gone for words.
"I know, I know. I'll call Zoey so—"
Rumi's hips jerked, and she came without warning. Mira quickly grabbed the third cup, aiming the opening toward Rumi's tip. Heat pooled low in her belly as drops of Rumi's seed spilled onto her fingers, leaving burning trails over her skin. Mira's center throbbed. She closed her eyes and took a steadying breath.
Easy now, Mira. Just do your work.
Without warning, Rumi leaned forward, grabbing Mira's face and pulling her in.
"Wait—"
"You got your samples."
"Rumi—?"
"I want what was promised."
Sharp teeth nipped at her neck before being soothed by a kiss.
"I want you."
Mira makes a deal with her subject, mermaid Rumi, to collect samples. She ends up studying Rumi's mating behaviors up close and personal.

The woman’s eyes widened, and her hand reached out, not quite touching Rumi, but close. “Not that you’re not beautiful, because wow, you-” She stopped, a look of realisation crossed her face “-I mean, no, wait, no, you are beautiful, but I wasn’t hitting on you, I have a girlfriend-”
Rumi ignored her chest squeezing.
“-A stunning girlfriend, Mira. I mentioned her, right? My girlfriend Mira-” The woman stopped abruptly and lowered her head down into her arms. “Jeez, Zoey, stop rambling at the deaf woman.” It was muffled, but Rumi heard it.
Silenced by grief, Rumi’s world is transformed when she crosses paths with Mira and Zoey, who guide her toward a voice she thought was lost forever.

Mira with Zoey holding her arm in a death grip: Hey, my girlfriend saw you from across the record shop, and we really dig your vibe. Can we buy you a vinyl?
