There is something about watching his neighbor cradle the cat in his arms like a newborn, speaking to her in maybe the most shockingly bad baby-voice Renjun has ever heard, that makes Renjun realize three things:
One, Jaemin has likely never interacted with a cat in his entire life.
Two, it wasn’t a trick of the light. Jaemin is still hot. Weird, but hot. This is a fact that is very distressing to Renjun.
Three, if Renjun leaves these two alone, one of them will end up dead within the week, and it’s not going to be Pork Chop.

“Corsets are beautiful,” Sicheng retorted with a shrug.
A pause.
“I suppose you could say that.”
Sicheng‘s eyelids fluttered. “You don’t think it suits me?”
“It looks nice,” Doyoung said gently. “But that isn’t exactly my point.”

Where one is a vampire and the other is a vampire hunter set up on a blind date by their friends. It takes a while before either of them learns this information.
