Hiding out in Tattoine, Luke hoped to simply disappear and be forgotten. But his plans go sideways when he protects a Mandalorian and his child.

Na'lil Rawen is an apothecary living a quiet life on La Paz, a refuge for those who wish to remain lost until she runs into a Mandalorian bounty hunter and his son.
After helping Din catch a bounty she is forced to run. Din agrees to help Na'lil all the while hoping to use her to get closer to Grogu. However, during their quest to help Na’lil get a bounty off her head, he finds himself falling in love with a woman who can see beyond his titles and beskar mask. With his son and Na'lil by his side, Din must decide what path to take, all while trying to keep his new clan together.

Summary
When a Jedi, dressed in black robes and a veil, arrived to rescue the Mandalorian and the friends that he had brought with him on the bridge of Gideon’s cruiser, Din believed he was prepared to let go of the Child he had grown attached to. But months of travelling alone, something that he once treasured and found peaceful, slowly filled his heart with anguish and despair.
Deeply missing his Child, Din travels to YavinIV, hoping to stay with the Jedi and watch Grogu’s training from afar, if only to make sure that he’s as well cared for as he would have been by the covert. Greeted by a man who speaks low and soft, every discernible feature hidden in many layers of clothes that Din surely believes mustn’t be comfortable, he is given permission to stay; this permission granted on two simple conditions. The Mandalorian must not leave after dark, and he mustn’t see the Jedi’s body without consent. Of all people, Din understands this feeling, having been brought up on rules similar to these.
Perhaps Mandalorians and Jedi are not so unalike, he wonders to himself. Meanwhile, Luke is discovering things just as strange and confusing within himself. Somehow more so than the carnivorous cravings he’d felt since he was young.Bookmarked by sensitive_moose

She couldn’t help but think how proud Satine would be – maybe not of the way they had gone about things, but of the fact she had managed to unite their people in a way even Satine had never been able to.
Standing in her newly constructed great hall she could hardly believe that she’d done it.
And yet somehow she felt empty.
It had been months on end of ships arriving, people helping them to rebuild, bringing supplies and offering their labour. Mandalorians from all over the galaxy wanted to make this their home again.
