"I don’t understand. That's not—" she starts, then recalibrates. "I know you wouldn't do that. But the fact that Zuzu would even suggest it..."
Her mind races, connecting dots she really doesn't want to be connecting. This thing had somehow convinced two teenage girls to stab their friend, whispering poison into their minds through innocent-looking text messages. And now it's what? Trying to convince Tim to kill himself?
He wouldn't do that. Right?
