Summary
Bakugou and Todoroki were similar in some ways. They were private people. They were at the top of the class, smart with powerful quirks. They also were pretty bad at socializing, only joining class outings when they got dragged by their friends. And they both had quite the temper. Bakugou's was more noticeable, but damn if Todoroki didn't have his days.
They weren’t friends, though. They barely interacted willingly and when they did it was to push each other’s buttons. So, it had been a surprise for everyone.
Apparently, if you bring together two awkward introverts with too much pride and issues, chaos ensures.

Of course, their impromptu friends led to the inevitable roadblocks in their friendship, and poor Hawks looked so confused when he saw Shinsou and Bakugou lounging on the couch, Shinsous legs lying haphazardly over his lap while Bakugou sprawled backwards without murdering Shinsou. Granted, that explanation was a little bit of a bitch to get through and then suddenly there was just so much shit happening between the villains and heroes that it got a little hard to balance sometimes, but, well.
No matter what side they were on during the day, to the public, they came home to the same place. Same bar, same people, same noise.
For once, they felt like they really belonged.
And that was enough for them.

Kaveh smiles. Just as he loves to do when he’s with Alhaitham.
“So much that you’re crying?” He decides to tease just one last time with a raise of his eyebrow.
“Yes,” Alhaitham replies without shame. “Is that so wrong?”
On the night before they get married, Alhaitham and Kaveh are more emotional than usual.

“There’s no need for you to,” Alhaitham whispers. He tightens his grip on Kaveh, hugging him closer. “What if I want you to stay?”
Kaveh really likes to sit on Alhaitham's lap and Alhaitham is a weak, weak man whenever he does.

Or, Alhaitham braids Kaveh’s hair just like he used to when they were students in the Akademiya. They look back upon the fond memories of their relationship and Alhaitham makes an offer that vows to make even more.

By "it," he means the forehead kisses–the lips being pressed on the surface of his forehead, ever so gently that he needs to clench his fists slightly because the feeling tickles so much. And for some reason, it only happens when he’s asleep. Or at least, when Kaveh thinks he’s asleep.
Or, the several times Kaveh gives Alhaitham forehead kisses when he's asleep. Alhaitham wants it to happen when he's awake.

“Home?” Flins whispers, as though the word is foreign in his mouth.
Varka reaches out to roll a strand of dark hair between his fingers, “Yes, to Mondstadt.”
Flins hums, closing his eyes.
“Very well then,” Flins nods, “Bring me home, Grand Master.”
Flins follows Varka back home to Mondstadt and relearns how to live as an ordinary human.
