“My names Sonic,” said hedgehog reaches out across the threshold of the door to shake the older foxes hand. But Rosemary just eyes his paw with a hard brow, her own hand lifting only to inhale a deep breath on her cigarette.
As she blows out the puff of smoke, Sonic and Tails eagerly shying away from the smell, she gestures to Miles with a flick of her wrist.
“Are you like him?” Rosemary asks, folding her arms against her chest.

as well as the comments are crazy, this fic is really amazing with the whole dialouge. made me really feel things which is EXACTLY what any good story should do

Summary
It was a square shape, a bit larger than a normal notebook, with a white ribbon twisted into a bow to keep it closed. Tails picked it up curiously. It was clearly Sonic’s as he’d never seen it before, so it would be an invasion of privacy to look inside. But then again, Sonic had left it out in the open; if it was private he could’ve at least put it in his room. However, he hadn’t expected Tails to be home anytime soon so-
Who was he kidding. He could argue with himself all day if he wanted, but in the end he knew curiosity would get the better of him anyway. Before he could stop himself, he pulled at the ribbon and opened the book.
Or: Sonic makes a scrapbook of his memories with Tails.

tails's old anxiety is coming back, and it's making him grumpy and emotional. when he gets into a fight with sonic, everything ends up falling apart. it's okay -- they always put it back together.

tails being grumpy and snappy is so real, we need more of this! this fic also does a great job of writing the more ugly parts of anxiety which is just so comforting. >:D
