But Jungsu makes him feel at ease with his little daily routine, how clean he keeps his apartment, the way he meticulously prepares his meals. Whatever peace Hyukjae is supposed to find in his afterlife, maybe he had found some of it in the presence of Jungsu’s gentle eyes. Although Hyukjae has learned there’s a lot of sadness hiding in those brown orbs too, because when Jungsu takes care of the plants he talks to them too.
And while the plants listen, so does Hyukjae.”
