Summary
On her way home after school, Sandrone runs into a strange girl wandering beneath the winter rain, dressed in nothing but her nightgown, singing to herself.
It turns out to be the start of a very unlikely relationship.[“Right, I won’t make you go home if you don’t want to,” Sandrone grumbles, shivering. “But you are coming with me before you succumb to hypothermia.”
The girl blinks, bemused.
“Is this… kidnapping?”
“Hah?!” Sandrone exclaims, “Why would anyone want to kidnap you?”
The girl opens her mouth as if to answer, and Sandrone quickly cuts her off.
“Don’t say anything. Come with me, stay out here and freeze, it doesn’t matter to me either way. Do whatever you like.”
With that, she turns on her heel and walks away, stuffing her hands into her skirt pockets in an attempt to keep them warm. The girl stares at her with wide eyes, her mouth open but no words coming out, one small, pale hand clutching the front of Sandrone’s coat.
A few moments later, she is back under Sandrone’s umbrella, humming another song to herself as she links their arms together.
Flinching, she hisses, “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Whatever I like,” the girl replies, nonchalant.]- Language:

“What happened, Bina? Tell me what’s wrong.” She cups Columbina’s cheek, and the latter leans into it and closes her eyes. “Did you get another vision of my death?”
Columbina brings her own hands up to keep Sandrone’s in place on her cheek before speaking. “I… I’m not sure, really."
“Your key wasn’t moving, and neither were the gears inside you. My khuuvakhi was also telling me you weren’t alive. But you were unscatched, and I’m sure nobody got to you because I would’ve felt that.” She said.
“You looked as if you’d just passed for no reason.” She tightened her grip on Sandrone’s hands.
“And now, you’re back. As if nothing happened and you were simply asleep.”
Or; Columbina visits Sandrone just moments after Sandrone triggers Ronova's curse of death.

Summary
…How beautiful. She ought to smile more like that, it suits her well.
Columbina blinked at that, her words trapped in her throat as the woman’s thoughts continued, relentless, as they caught her off-guard.
I’m really worried about her, but I’m sure she’ll be fine. She’s tougher than she looks.
“Oh, um, have we met before?” she found herself asking, bewildered.
For a brief second, the woman appeared taken aback by her question, before she schooled her features back to indifference as she answered with a raised eyebrow and a scowl. “Obviously not. Now, enough with this chitchat and go home before the rain gets more intense.”
Columbina, through eyes that reflected people’s inner thoughts, knew that greed was often masked behind sweet, tempting words. Over the years, she decided to always avoid their gaze to keep the incessant noises from forming in her head. But then, she met Sandrone, and for the first time in a very long while, she found herself unable to look away.
(or, how Columbina, in spite of herself, fell in love with a liar.)

Each line struck like a bullet, her key recoiling as her resolve bled out.
“You were the one that let me sleep in the safety of your room even when you acted upset. You were the one who refused to give up on me when I fell across the Moon’s reflection. You were the one that died for me.”She regarded Sandrone with an intense clarity, “So is it really so surprising that I’m so deeply bewitched by you? That I mourned your passing with every breath I took?”

At last, with the power of friendship and a little help from the Hexenzirkel mages, the False God was vanquished. Sandrone fell to her knees, gasping for breath as the dust settled. It was finally over. Her plan worked. She looked over to the others, crowded around Columbina as they each took her into their arms with teary eyes. Sandrone used the last of her strength to get to her feet, never taking her eyes off Columbina. The reborn moon goddess smiled at all of her friends, returned their hugs, and took the Traveler’s hands into her own as they exchanged heartfelt words.
Sandrone finally had Columbina back… but she wasn’t filled with joy in the moment. The light feeling of relief was slowly being encroached by something darker.

With logic and emotions merged, Sandrone is confused about her feelings towards her ex-colleague and tries to understand them as the trip progresses.
The story takes place after the Summer Fontanalia Film Festival.
