Summary
Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 was... certainly three episodes of a show that was definitely on my tv for an extended period of time. And I have feelings.
Basically I have Some Thoughts about volume two and byler specifically but I have nowhere else really to talk about these Thoughts so I figured I'd just put them here so anyone who wants them can read.

Summary
Osamu Dazai has lived a life. That is all it is in this world. To call it a good life would be simply false, and to call it a bad life cannot encapsulate the experience. So, he settles on just calling it a life.
But is that so accurate? He’s had his chance to say goodbye, and a life with someone to say goodbye to is a good life… right? But does it really count as a proper goodbye if it’s to someone who will never understand it, never accept it?
These kinds of thoughts are too complicated for a life about to end, so he’ll just call it a life and call it a day.

Summary
Will raised an eyebrow at his friend's antics, then dropped his eyes to where he knew Dustin had reached a hand out towards him.
“This summer, we stick together. You and me, Byers.”
Will grinned, taking Dustin’s hand and shaking it. “You and me, Henderson.”
A rewrite of S3:
The night Dustin gets back from Camp Knowhere, he brings the Party up to the highest point in Hawkins to set up Cerebro. He thought that his friends would be excited to have him back-- even if it wasn't the most entertaining to sit on a hill and talk into a radio with no response, he thought they would at least wait for him before going home. He thought it was going to be the best summer ever.
Instead, he finds himself and the one friend that didn't leave him, Will Byers, intercepting a weird Russian transmission.
And, well... if he couldn't have the best summer ever, at least he and Will would have an eventful one.

Will kneels in front of the fire, eyes ablaze in the firelight and energy buzzing through his bloodstream, ticking further and further towards the tips of his fingers, until— Fwshh. In about three seconds flat, the previously pink, soft boar now lies golden-brown and firm to the touch, sizzling slightly as he swipes an egg-yolk brush over the crisp skin.
“Did you just fireball our dinner?”
Will twists in his position, blinking up at Mike, “Yes.”
Mike stares back, bewildered yet enraptured, “Okay then.”
Will just smiles. Small, secret. Special.
OR
Mike can't stand the cold, Max has grudges against the Royal Chamber Choir and Will reminiscences over his favourite time of year.

Summary
Maine was supposed to offer them a fresh start. A clean slate. Bob’s parents had apparently kept their old house on the market for months, and only when they signed the papers did Will realize what that meant. The move hadn’t been a spontaneous decision born of panic or fear. It had been planned for a while, and Starcourt was just the final nail in the coffin. It made everything feel more final, indisputable. Like a tidal wave that’s been building and building and he only noticed it once it had already crashed down, tumbling him over loose sand and drowning him in the waves. He hadn’t known much about the town of Derry, Maine, when he’d first heard of it. And by much, he meant nothing at all.

Woah, a Stranger Things x It crossover fic? Who could've come up with such an idea? Jokes aside, this is a fic that attempts to cross over both series in a seamless, logical way. Set after Stranger Things season 3, we follow the Byers after they move from Hawkins, Indiana to the small town of Derry, Maine.

Summary
There’s something wrong with Will.
It started three weeks ago, almost four. Will had woken from some sort of nightmare and, instead of seeking comfort in Mike the way he usually would, he’d rolled out a sleeping bag from the closet and chosen to sleep on the floor.
No one believes Mike, except for Joyce. But even she doesn’t understand the full extent to which something is wrong with Will.
Mike understands, though. Mike has been paying attention.
