Summary
Lydia's alone the first time she see's her. Just for a second out of the corner of her eye she catches a glimpse of a familiar face, of someone that absolutely can not be standing in her room at 3 am. She cries then and when her mother finds her a few hours later her cheeks are still wet with tears. Lydia doesn't tell her what happened and she definitely doesn't tell her that what scared her more then seeing her dead friend was that it had taken her a second to recognize her, that it took her longer then she was even there to realize who it was.

Summary
Roughly two years after the Fall of Sunnydale, Faith is still in Cleveland, guarding the Hellmouth. She's pretty much a one-Slayer band these days, which suits her just fine.
And she certainly knows better than to answer the door late on a dark and stormy night...

Summary
“How’s Hallariel? Uh—Mrs. Faeth?”
“Oh, she’s well. Lots of life back in the house with the babies now.” Gilear looks a little pleased for a moment, then sad again, as if—
Oh. It takes a second, but Gorgug recognizes that look. He’s beginning to hate it.
Pity.
“Babies,” Gorgug says instead of commenting on it. He goes back to his—well, it’s not a gearset. Maybe a watch? Could be. Or a trap. (Almost like this conversation.) “Three now, right?”
“Yes, yes. Felicity, you know, then Flora and Felix are the youngest.”
“Ah.”
“Twins.”
“Right, right.” He pops a gear out of place with the screwdriver. “Twins are great. Congrats.”
“Yes,” Gilear says, with the air of someone about to begin a terrible, difficult conversation. “I’m sorry, Gorgug. For your loss.”
“Lots of people are,” Gorgug says. It’s not what he means.

Summary
Robin’s eyes lazily rolled around for a moment, searching for their target before eventually landing on Nancy. A dopey grin spread across her face and a deep chuckle came from her throat.
“You’re pretty.”
Nancy looked into her unfocused eyes and sighed.
“And you’re concussed.”

Summary
Ayda awoke in darkness, unable to move and with a rising fear in her chest, though she couldn’t figure why. She desperately glanced around the room, and found that she was back in the room filled with restrained celestials. She tried to shout for help, but found her mouth gagged with vines. Of course. No verbal or somatic components. No spell casting. The Nightmare King was rotten to the core, but he was clever. Ayda had to give him that.
And then she heard the voice of her paramour, and all rational thought faded.

Summary
Ayda was clearly a mess. The bags under her eyes indicated she hadn’t slept in days. Her vest was cocked, her wings extended in fight or flight response, and she had numerous books stacked high in her arms. Ayda protected those books with her life, and to do that they often remained at the Compass Point Library. This was serious, then.
Or, Ayda Aguefort learns that her paramour is in Hell, and she seeks the help of the one and only Garthy O'Brien.
