Leon switched on the light by the door, casting the room in a soft, orange glow.
“Christ,” Leon breathed.
He’d signed up for unlimited alcohol, not being doomed to share such an intimate and sickeningly romantic space with the man he was very much not supposed to be in love with but undoubtedly was anyway. Leon was thoroughly fucked; and not even in the fun way.

Almost two years after the events of RE4, Luis manages to convince Leon to go on a cruise, only for the two men to be disappointed by the lack of alcohol on board. They decide the logical thing to do to solve this problem is to pretend to be a married couple and win a newlyweds contest in order to earn the prize of unlimited alcohol. Leon discovers pretty quickly this was a terrible idea, as now he has to pretend to be in love with the man he's already fallen head over heels for, without actually committing to anything real.

“Something better?” Luis asked, completely offended. “Que quieres decir? Don Quixote is one of the greatest novels of all time. It was the first modern novel! There is nothing better!”
“I didn’t mean it like that. But I’m just wondering if you’ve tried to read literally anything else.”
“Okay then, Sancho, please enlighten me,” Luis questioned while jutting out his hip and leaning his weight on one leg, hand placed on his waist. “What other book should I read?”
Well shit. Leon didn’t think this far ahead. Suddenly he couldn’t name a single book he ever read in his life. His eyes scanned the shelf until it landed on a familiar title.
Wuthering Heights.
OR
In an attempt to get Luis to read something other than Don Quixote, Leon accidentally turns Luis into a Kate Bush fan.
