V found herself on the roof, with Johnny sitting by her side. Their gaze was fixated on the luminescent glow of the Secure Your Soul advertisement in the towering building before them.
"So, what will it be?" Johnny's voice broke the silence. After everything they went through, V was able to notice the small jitters of anxiousness as he waited for her decision.
But V doesn't remember the answer she gave. Instead, she found herself jolted awake in her former apartemnt - her very old apartment, one she had while working for Arasaka's counterintelligence.
Was it all just a dream? A warning? An opportunity?

Spectre Vakarian was getting restless and frustrated - trying to catch a Spectre was more tiresome than he previously had thought. He has been on Saren's tail for some time now; but finally, he was able to track him down. He managed to learn that Saren's on his way to a planet called Eden Prime - and that could only mean trouble. Garrus needs to convince the council about the possible dangers but they are frustratingly stubborn in their blindness.
Despite their dismissive attitude, they presented him with an opportunity to see the planet while also babysitting a human candidate for a Specter.
Of course, he can multitask; he will get Saren and evaluate the candidate.

His frame looks small, slumped, a twisted dreamscape parody of fantasies in which the sleek line of a mantle is stripped down to bare soft curves of shoulders and throat.

Seth Domade had many good qualities. He was human and, as such, could traverse Rexxentrum with ease. He had some unremarkable magical capabilities, so it was not odd that he might, say, use Comprehend Languages to read a book or cast Prestidigitation to clean the muck from his boots.
Seth Domade, however, was not a powerful wizard. He did not wield spells that could disrupt the gravity of an entire street or send his attackers flying into a wall. Seth Domade was a quiet, unassuming man. He spent most of his days editing volumes in the Cobalt Soul’s library, and he looked the part.
