“So, I talked to Jen and Alice today, and they said we need to hit up La Folie Douce before we leave. It’s this après-ski place up the mountain. Thoughts?”
Agatha sat down on the couch. “Are you prepared to go down a blue run?”
“Oh god. Are you serious?”
“Yup. Did you see that lift that goes over our house? It takes you to Folie, but it sits on a blue run that you have to get down. It’s a pretty chill blue, all things considered, but I’ve heard awful things about trying to get down it drunk. Everyone else skiing down is drunk, too.”
“Ugh,” huffed Rio, “I mean. I’m happy to try. But maybe later in the trip. I need to get my sea legs back first, even just carrying the skis was making me nervous.”

Agatha wants Rio to go down a blue run with her so they can go to après-ski. Rio reluctantly agrees but ends up having the time of her life.

You know the ones. The half-jokey conspiracy theories that dominated BroadwayWorld’s messageboards back in the day, claiming that Ms. Harkness was some kind of ancient witch. What other explanation could there be for a performer who, despite her strikingly distinctive looks, can chameleon herself so effortlessly in period pieces ranging from the colonial past to a superhero-ridden future? What else could account for the two-time Tony nominee’s relentless work ethic, hopping from show to show without a sick day or a stress pimple in sight?
(Speaking of that famously perfect skin…well. We’ll get to that!)
