After his scheduled interview gets cancelled, Goro decides a walk through Inokashira Park would be a better use of his afternoon than waiting outside Penguin Sniper for his evening meetup with Kurusu.
When he runs into Kurusu sooner than expected, Goro’s surprised to find the distinguished Leader of the illustrious Phantom Thieves having a grand old time acting as Kitagawa’s chauffeur. Was this unconventional meeting a way to conspire between accomplices, or was it something else?
Though the legitimacy of his role as a detective may be questionable, there’s no debate when it comes to whether his investigative urges are genuine. Goro can’t simply walk away from uncovering the truth of what’s going on.
And if that means he has to resort to an unorthodox method to do so, then so be it.
