“ You know back when I… put my hand inside you and you, ’touched me back’?” Yoshiki asked, not knowing how he should refer to that.
“Well, I just thought…” Hikaru replied, turning away, “since you touched me and, y’know I felt good, I thought I’d return the favor”
“I’m sorry about that, by the way.” Hikaru continued “For, you know, doing something you didn’t like.”
“It’s fine just, warn me next time… or something”
Hikaru finally turned to look at him “Next time?”
“Yeah…next time”

“Aw, shit, it got in,” ‘Hikaru’ says, kneeling down next to Yoshiki and blocking some of the light not just with his body, but with a writhing flare of darkness that spreads slowly out from him. Yoshiki is pretty sure, even through the red haze of pain across his vision, that isn’t -- well, no, it’s real, but he doesn’t think it’s actually there. He’s only seeing it because of that thing that ‘Hikaru’ didn’t quite catch in time, the thing that crashed into him and knocked him flying off his bike and into the bushes at the side of the road before ‘Hikaru’ snatched it back and ate it.
