Trinity tries to breathe through the pounding in her heart.
“If you don’t take a few steps back, this is about to get a lot more humiliating for both of us,” she says tightly, hoping Langdon can’t hear the slight waver in her voice.

After aiding the Legion of Super-Heroes in a fierce but successful battle against Time Trapper, Jon headed home to the 21st Century. What he didn't realize until he got there was that he'd actually come back to a timeline that jumped five years ahead, while he had lost only a month.
This led to more than a few problems. Namely, the unideal status of some relationships. Namely, Damian Wayne.
Naturally, things got complicated.

“You think I’m perfect?” Scott tilts his head in curiosity and then Logan startles because he had not meant for it to sound like that, for Scott to take it like that. But now that he did … Logan can’t bring himself to refute it.

Summary
“Ok, it looks like your corneas have been scratched a bit, and there might be a few metal splinters I’ll have to get out. Nothing permanent!” Chopper quickly added, still keeping Sanji's face still. “Let’s get you to my office so I can take care of that.”
“Yeah, ok.” And then Sanji forgot he was blind and started walking again.
The combined shout of Chopper and Zoro didn’t stop the motion of falling from happening, and so by the time Sanji hit the water he had only enough time to think ‘well this is embarrassing.’ Fucking humiliating is what is was, falling off the side of a boat like an infant. The subsequent drowning wasn’t fantastic either.

Sanji deals with temporary blindness. He deals with it almost as well as he deals with emotions.

Summary
Logan looks into his eyes- the effect is so much deeper with him than with anyone else; He can see Scott’s eyes, despite the ruby quartz, which makes it all the more intimate- and quickly looks back down at his claws. He retracts them. “People do crazy things for love.”
Right. Because Logan is in love with Scott’s wife.
It feels so natural for Scott- to exist, just the three of them- that he tends to forget his happiness brings Logan pain.
He picks up Logan’s hand and caresses the space between his knuckles. There’s still a bit of dried blood, creating an outline of his claws, and Scott wipes it away.
“Sometimes I worry that because your skin heals so fast, you try to make everything else fix itself on that timeline too... Just because the scar is gone doesn’t mean the pain wasn’t real.”
