“I’m asking Santa to get him a boyfriend,” Elena announces proudly, making Mydei sigh. “Do you think he can do that, Phainon?”
“Oh!” Phainon looks to Mydei with an eyebrow raised. “Um, maybe? Santa works in very mysterious ways.”

Summary
“Holy shit,” a voice says from behind him, tired and rough. “Looks like a blizzard came through!”
The world outside is a crisp white, flurries swirling around the air rapidly as the wind roars outside the window. Snow covers a good part of the window, cars outside are covered completely as the snowstorm rages on.
Mydei wasn’t an idiot. Going out in a blizzard-like that was asking to be killed, either from hypothermia or being swept up in the raging wind. He definitely wasn’t dressed for any sort of trek through the inches of snow either, not without a shirt and proper boots.
Long story short, he was stuck here.
or, after a one night stand, Mydei finds himself stranded at the guy's apartment. Perhaps a day together will prove that this isn't such a bad thing.

Summary
Phainon, lonely and lost in life, saves the life of his favorite passerby at the train station he works. A misunderstanding at the hospital leaves the man's family under the impression that Phainon is his boyfriend, a misunderstanding that Phainon doesn't immediately dismiss.
Now he's playing pretend, trying to keep this new found family in his life while also finding himself falling in love with Mydei, a member of the man's family who should definitely be off limits.

Mydei crosses his arms. “How are you of all people supposed to help me get through Christmas with my family?” he asks dryly.
Phainon’s brows lift. “Huh.” When he doesn’t elaborate, Mydei gives him a look. “Well,” he says. “It’s just that I think I have a similar problem. With family. And Christmas.” He grimaces. “If I don’t come home with a boyfriend, I think my mother will kill me.”
Mydei’s eyes narrow. “Did you tell Cipher that? She probably thinks we can help each other.”
Phainon’s scoffs. “How? By pretending to date each other?”
Tired of their families pressuring them about significant others at Christmas, Mydei and Phainon agree to pretend to date each other and then break up after the holidays. Things don't go as planned.

Now, Mydei's nape is out in the open, a seemingly innocuous patch of skin—and yet, now that it's exposed, the only thing Phainon can think about is how sensual it is.
He's thought about it before—about brushing Mydei's hair to the side and placing a tender kiss to the spot—but now that his hair does nothing to cover it up, now that it's visible, vulnerable…
Somehow, Phainon has a feeling he won't be able to pay very much attention to their class today.
Mydei gets a haircut and a boyfriend, in that order.

Phainon looks at him for a moment. He takes a slow sip of his coffee, no longer steaming and fogging his glasses, then offers him a timid smile afterwards. “You can trust me, Mydei.”
“I do,” Mydei ends up saying.
His roommate sits back and laughs, not quite believing it yet. “Did you at least miss me?” he asks suddenly, tilting his head. Just like that, the strange tension dissipates.
My hole was pulsing to the thought of your name. Mydei takes a long, pointed bite of his toast to avoid replying.
Phainon’s grin sharpens into a boyish smirk. “Yeah. Thought so.”
On paper and in his daily life, Mydei pretends to be a beta. It wouldn’t have been any trouble, if only he isn’t attracted to his alpha roommate.
