Grantaire finds Enjolras in a bohemian cabaret, getting drunk with a famous painter.
"Grantaire used to come to Le Rat Mort a lot more often, back before he found Café Musain and, mostly, Enjolras. It's rowdier here, and there's plenty to eat and drink while watching the entertainers or contemplating the elegant fresco of the dead rat. The clientele comprises artists and romantics, poets and performers, courtesans and sexual deviants like Grantaire or the crowd of lesbians who frequently hold court in the evenings. It is absolutely not the kind of place he would ever expect to see Enjolras. So, when Enjolras strolls up with a champagne cocktail in one hand and a big smile on his face, Grantaire's brain simply clicks to a stop."

Because hobbits are more unused to going without food than dwarves are, Bilbo enjoys this meal more than most, moaning and making porn noises with every bite. Thorin gets distracted."
Thorin is flustered, Dwalin doesn't care for Beorn's dogs, and Bilbo isn't quite as stealthy as he intended to be.
