While trying to uncover Tav's mysterious past, he fell into the all-too-familiar entrapments of longing, burdened further by his self-doubt. The road to Baldur's Gate would be a long one indeed, though perhaps Gale and Tav could find easier footing by walking it together.

Things get a little steamy for the first time. Also, modern plumbing exists in this world. After a forfeited university scholarship and four wasted years with a woman who ultimately stranded her and left her for dead on a deserted stretch of Amnian highway, Miriam is determined to finally get her life back on track. What she didn't plan for was finding out the attractive stranger she's been anonymously hooking up with the week before classes began would turn out to be her physics professor for the semester.

“Are you doing alright? You look troubled,” Gale asked from his tent, glancing up at her. The Wizard of Waterdeep sat on a pile of pillows with a book in one hand.
“Oh, did I distract you? I am sorry…. Just some writer’s block is all-” Anya said as her eyes finally went away from the piece of paper.
“You didn’t distract me at all,” a wave of relief went over the half elf. Perhaps he was just saying it to make her feel better. “If it is writer's block, then perhaps you should take a break,” Gale suggested.
