Summary
Marlene is a struggling artist trying her best. And sometimes trying your best looks like pretending to be a psychic and using the backroom of her retail job as a place to give rich people readings for money. Sometimes it looks like being more than happy to take people's money and being hit by crippling guilt afterwards.
Facing the recent horrors that have occurred in her life, Marlene finds a way to use the skills she's gained from being a fake psychic that comes in the form of assisting Detective Dorcas Meadowes on a case. A case that has already stolen so much from her, that has made her feel as though she has to help solve it, because she has nothing else to lose.
She's wrong.

Summary
Remus sighs, and glances around the hair salon, trying for the first time to properly look around. There’s a singular brick wall, positioned to the back of the receptionist, while the rest are all black. On the walls, there are photos and paintings hung almost everywhere. His eyebrows furrow as he sees all the art displayed around the room, and identifies the photos as all being of tattoos.
There are magazines about tattoos on the table next to him.
And a shelf of different ointments that say they’re for taking care of tattoos.
And fucking hell this is a tattoo parlour.

Summary
Something cosmic occurs the day that Mary Macdonald and Marlene McKinnon meet. Two people filled with so much love for one another it overflows.
