He can't explain it, but when he reads through them (or attempts-- they were written in Ancient Liyuen, after all), he gets this feeling of... deja vu. When a stranger one days walks by him at the exhibit, the feeling gets stronger...
Xiao is lonely, to say the least. Other than his sisters, a family friend, and his bandmates, he really doesn’t have anyone. And he prefers it that way, being honest. But a chance encounter at the museum and a dream change his life forever.

Albedo lives in the Kriedehaus Manor, above Mondstadt in the hills beyond. The villagers theorize about what he might be— a stubborn debonaire estate owner? Or something much more sinister? Whatever they say, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t need to. He’s sensible.
Kaeya Alberich doesn’t know what to believe. His older brother is one of the few conspiracists that believe the estate owner is something evil. But he can’t be all that bad, surely? Whatever he is, Kaeya intends to find out. Whether it be by murder or by romancing… either way is good for him.
Watch as Kaeya actually develops a relationship with the (quite honestly dashing) estate owner.

“Oh, god, he’s here.” Xiao pulled his black hood over his head, rushing to put his things in his bag. “He’s here, at the library.”
“Yes. People often come to the library to study. Which is what we’re meant to be doing, by the way,” Zhongli mentioned drolly, pulling Xiao’s hood off of his head. “No hoods in the library.”
“He can’t see me. He’s going to tackle me in public. Or— or something dumb like that.” Xiao stood up quickly, putting his hands on the table. “He’s crazy.”
Xiao just moved into a new apartment, so he could be closer to his university campus. The only problem with this— he thinks his new roommate is insane. Just thinking of his stupid face— his dumb, round face and stupid braids— it makes him angry. Well, that’s what he thinks it makes him feel. He’s loud, annoying, and just… not a roommate Xiao wants to live with. He’s already looking for a new apartment. However, after a little incident one night, the two start to get closer and closer. Are they just friends, or could they be something more?
