Summary
Evan didn’t notice it at first. He was so relieved to have Barty back and out of the control of the curse that he didn’t realise how subdued Barty had become. It started small: Barty zoning out halfway through a conversation or missing a few details here and there in classes, but it always seemed too small to bring it up. Barty was tired anyway and Evan didn’t want to overwhelm him with his own anxiety, so he didn’t say anything.
Evan sorely regrets his decision now as he looks at Barty, who is nodding off in his chair. Evan knows that he hates being vulnerable in public, for him to be falling asleep in the library of all places, he must have not slept last night. Barty’s head eventually drops onto Evan’s shoulder, and Evan wraps an arm around his waist to stop him falling off the chair. They stay like that until Regulus arrives, presumably to join them so they would actually study instead of making out.
“What’s going on with him?” Regulus looks mildly horrified when he sees Barty.

Summary
The pull of their lips together makes Remus’ head spin, he slips his tongue into Sirius’ mouth, making him audibly choke a little, the sound stark in the dark empty street.
“Take me home tonight?” Remus asks in a deep teasing voice. Sirius playfully bites his bottom lip in return, pulling it between his teeth. It’s a dangerous game they are playing, but Remus doesn’t think he could bear it if they were to stop.
