Summary

For as long as he could remember, Keith Kogane had been a disappointment. He hadn’t been enough for his father, clearly, because he’d left when Keith was 6. And though he’d never met his mother, he imagined if he had, he’d have only disappointed her too. Suffice to say, he wasn’t surprised in the least when he was expelled from his school that day. What else was to be expected from a kid who was born to be a disappointment?

13-year-old Keith Kogane goes to a new high school after being expelled from his middle school (right before graduation too, bummer). He hopes for a fresh start, not just to be seen as a delinquent or emo freak.

On his first day, Keith meets Lance McClain against his will, and any hope for a peaceful school life is dashed.

What if Pidge was trapped in space after watching their dad, brother (Matt) and Mr. Shirogane (Shiro) get abducted? What if Adam Wences and Veronica McClain were there with Lance and Hunk when Shiro’s escape pod crashed on Earth and unknowingly joined them into an intergalactic war?

Summary
It's Lance's first semester being a senior in high school, and let's just say it's not going so well. Lance keeps failing test after test in his college algebra class, and to make things worse, he's stuck sitting behind Keith. Keith is a star student, a know-it-all, and seemingly a goody two-shoe. Keith passes the class with ease. It's frustrating for Lance to see Keith do so well without batting much of an eye. Something about Keith gets on Lance's nerves, but he can't quite explain why. So when Keith offers Lance to tutor him after class, Lance takes it personally. It doesn't take long for Lance to change his mind and take Keith's offer, after all, what's the worst that can come from some lessons after class?
