Summary
Fiddleford McGucket loves his wife. He loves his son. He’s got a truck, a house, a plan, a project— but there is something distinctly... missing. Stanford Pines is finally free. There is nothing tying him down, he has his own home, a grant that keeps him funded, and research that keeps coming— but a lack of human companionship is something even his muse cannot quite provide.
Fidd jumps at the opportunity to assist an old friend when Ford finally calls him after years of nothing but letters. In a Shack away from prying eyes, with the companionship of someone that interacting with comes so easily, it is just as easy to fall back into old habits for better or for worse. As much as Ford adores his old friend, he doesn’t trust he won’t be misconstrued as a madman should the truth come out, and as much as Fiddleford is willing to open his eyes and try new things he can tell there is something very wrong with this idea he is helping Ford accomplish. "Impossible Year" follows the events of Fiddleford’s year with a “visiting researcher” and Ford’s writings of inventing the portal with his assistant, F. From the mundane moments of grocery shopping and pulling gnome hair from machinery, to the portal incident and the aftermath.

Summary
Stanford Pines is a man who has gone most of his life alone through his struggles. When one is crossing the multiverse, there are very few long term companions, and there are even fewer chances to see a therapist. He is home now, the danger is gone, the boulder has been pushed over the summit: He won. So why is it that a year later, he has returned to town more lifeless than before? Plagued with horrific nightmares, memories of a childhood long past, and the voice of a demon who won't let him alone, perhaps it is time for Ford Pines to learn that doing it alone can't cut it anymore.
A commentary on Ford's mental health through the horror of a long nightmare, bookended by the concern and the comfort of his two most emotional family members

A short scene in the lives of two people who love each other very much from before there was anything to come in the way of that happiness.

Summary
In Fiddleford's "better world", he would never have had to choose between Ford and Emma-May. The Christmas before Tate turns 6, Fidd asks Emma-May for a Christmas present that he isn't sure that she'll even grant him. She does on one condition.
Totally self-indulgent, inspired by singing "I saw Mommy Kissin' Santa Claus" to myself while cleaning.

Summary
This is a look at the events of Journal 3 and the lost pages of The Book of Bill in novel form, from Bill giving Ford the inspiration for the portal all the way to the portal incident with Stanley (and possibly beyond). Mainly FiddAuthor with some BillFord involved-- mostly focused on character development and showing what their daily lives would have been in between working on the portal, as well as while working on it.
The road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions. Good intentions were hopefully what everyone had in mind.

Summary
Dimension 78'\
Ford got to see his "Better World" ending: He and Fidd open the institute, the Cosmos are safe from Bill's reign of weird, everything is just as it should be. But what about Fiddleford?
This series explores what Fiddleford's "Perfect World" would have been, a universe where he never had to make a choice, where he could live true to his heart's desires, and where the three people he loves most in the world get to stick by him instead of vanishing in a blink of blue flash. Fiddleford asks his wife to give Ford a chance, and the rest of the world falls where it may lay from there.
