    Premise: after centuries of their souls being trapped together, Meng Yao and Nie Mingjue reincarnate in the modern day. They have no idea of the history between them until they kiss and recover their memories from their previous lives.

    Meng Yao is Nie Huaisang's best friend and thanks to him he gets a job at Nie Mingjue's company. Romance develops between the boss and his assistant.

    "He knows he can't have it, that it isn't his to take, that it's unprofessional, it's wrong, but...
    Before he can let common sense force him back into his senses, before he can stop himself like he should, he grabs Nie Mingjue's face with both hands and pulls him down into a kiss.
