A crease appears in Shota’s forehead. “What does that mean?”
“You try to fuck it out,” Jiung pipes up. Shota blinks at him. “As long as you can make it through without resorting to option one.”

Summary
Jiung graduated from his teaching degree, got a job at a decent school, found an apartment and a roommate. He bought vegetables semi-regularly and mostly managed to eat them before they went soft and weird. He went out with his colleagues at least once a month and even went on a couple of the blind dates they set up for him. He managed to make it so he never wore the same shirt twice in a row, and hoarded his favourite board pens in the locked draw in his classroom. He learnt the kids’ names and started to recognise which parents to watch out for. He bought a house plant and named it Colonel Sanders.
He is kind of fucking miserable.

Gyuvin should really get checked for the kind of stuff his mind has been running lately. Either he’s depraved or he’s in love with his best friend. Maybe both? At the same time? Gyuvin is used to girls confessing to Ricky.
It isn’t hard to understand why they do it: as much as it pains him to admit it, he does have that cool guy vibe. Yes, a cool guy who is actually really sweet and caring and cute and... ahem... yeah. He has all that charm going on, so Gyuvin can see the appeal. He never cared too much about it though, since he knew that even if Ricky suddenly got a girlfriend, he wouldn’t get replaced by her. He is, after all, his best friend in the whole wide world, and some girl would never be able to change that.
However, all that goes down the drain when a guy decides to profess his undying love to Ricky and consequently ruin Gyuvin’s life.
A guy confesses to Ricky, and Gyuvin should really do some self-reflection.

Hinata had already spoken about this more than he'd wanted to that morning. "I'm not gonna talk about anything with you, I'm gonna open these, and then leave."
"Okay," Komaeda agreed quietly, eyes wide as he watched Hinata's fingers work open the packaging on a bag of pretzels. His pupils contracted, following every movement with increasing intensity. The unpleasant rip of plastic speckled the silence between them, leaving huge gaps where Hinata swore he could hear the other boy breathing.
(Hinata feels just a little, tiny bit bad that Komaeda is hungry and tied up in the dining hall, and pays him a visit late at night.)
