Summary
“Is this going to become a habit?” Leon finally managed.
“Which part?” he asked, unbothered, exhaling smoke somewhere off to the side.
“This.” Leon gestured vaguely between them with the cup in his hand. “I’m trying to drink my coffee in peace. You’re interrupting me with unsolicited advice and smoke in my face.”
“Well,” he chuckled, tapping ash onto the floor without looking down, a well-practiced gesture. “I’ve been doing this for five years. I always end the night out here, one smoke, before I go home.” A pause. “So really- you’re the one interrupting me.”
Leon blinked, caught somewhere between annoyed and almost impressed.
“Not that I mind.” He finally added, smiling around the cigarette.

As they learn more about each other than they’d ever expected to know, they’re forced to work together if they want to find a way out of each other’s minds and back to their own lives.
While they experience each other's darkest moments, something between them starts to shift...
{He visibly shivered, finally turning around to face him and-Chris felt like he was going to be sick.
“…Kennedy?…How?”
The man before him was absolutely without a doubt Leon S. Kennedy.
He also looked about 20 years old.}
