Summary
Ninox Ryrrl, amnesiac dragonborn sorcerer, and a party of other illithid infected victims draw ever closer to Moonrise Towers, the place they have been told holds the key to their infection, and the seat of power of new god, The Absolute. But the trials of the Shadow Cursed Lands, the horrors of Moonrise Towers, the twisted games of a devil, the legacy of the victims hundred years of twisted divine cruelty, and each of their own dark pasts may at last prove to be too much for them.
Ninox snarls and shoves Astarion away from him, hard. The elf stumbles, hitting the wall of the small wash gully with a sickening crack, even as Ninox is scrambling away from him, from it, stumbling over his own feet, falling against the wall of soil and stone, then slipping, stumbling, landing on his chest hard enough the wind leaves him. There’s shouting from somewhere nearby, but Ninox can’t focus on that. He has to get away from Astarion before he does something, before he is -

Summary
D'var Tia travels back in time to find the answer to the Final Days. What he doesn't expect to find is a past haunted by his own ghosts.
“For someone who managed to slip into a controlled facility alongside an official of the Convocation under false pretences, you are a terrible liar.” Hades has bent down, kneeling, meeting D’var’s eyes, his gaze searching for any injury the miqo’te is hiding, and D’var wants to be nearly anywhere but here. His merger control of his own aether flares as he feels that burningly familiar touch of Hades’s own, and he tries to push back against it. “Stop that, and let me help you.”
The words knock the breath from him in a sob that he barely catches behind his teeth even as the Ancient’s aether pushes into him, through him, like a wave. He remembers that feeling, knows it, and shudders with how much he has missed it, breath caught between his ribs even as his heart tries to shatter them from inside.Series

Summary
D'var Tia, Warrior of Light and Darkness is freshly returned from the First, and haunted by nightmares of the deaths of the only two men he's ever loved.
In an abstract way, he knows he’s falling apart. The stress on body, soul, and mind over the last few months may finally have been enough to break him. Even if they insist his soul and body are healed, his mind still crumbles, he can feel it. After ... after he’d killed Thordan, it had been much the same. He barely remembers those months between Azys Lla and the meeting with Vidofnir, the time a haze of grief. Others had mourned, made their offerings of sympathy, and then expected him to move on. They hadn’t known. There hadn’t been time for them to know. And had they known, would it have repulsed them? This time, it was worse. So much worse, watching those who should comfort you rejoice in what you’d been forced to do by their very actions. This time, there was no one who could ever know. The revulsion would be absolute.
Where are your damn high expectations of me now? He thinks, as the first of the rain begins to fall.Series

Summary
“Pain without purpose is a terrible thing, wouldn’t you agree?” The words slam into him like a blow. Everything he’d struggled to put into words, everything wrong he’d seen among the druids, everything crystalizes in an instant. This is right. This is proper. He has been appalled by every pointless, useless cruelty he’s seen. It is a waste.
Ninox Ryrrl awakens with no memory of his past. He now finds himself the leader of a band of other unfortunate illithid worm infected individuals, and beset by urges for things he does not understand. Navigating the demands others place on him, his own ravaged mind, and a growing relationship with a vampire spawn, all amid trying to find a cure for the infection they all share might be what breaks him. Or it may be what saves him. Only time will tell.

Summary
Ninox Ryrrl awakens amid burning guts of an Illithid Nautiloid with nothing more than the memory of his name, his magic, the scars on his back, and a mind-blanking blood-lust.
This is a retelling of my Dark Urge play-through of BG3, combined with my own head-cannon and the options I wish I'd had to offer these characters along the way.

Summary
Holmes took a few more puffs of his cigarette in contemplative silence, before, in one fluid motion, abruptly stubbing it out and coming to kneel in front of me. He took my hands in his, clasped them gently, but kept his head bowed and refused to meet my eye.
“What I am to tell you next, Watson- what happened- I can barely believe it myself. And indeed, I would quite happily dismiss it as the ravings of a madman, the last hallucinations of the almost-dead, were it not for the nightly evidence of that little scene you just witnessed. But I beg you- doubt me if you will, but hear me first, please.”
The Falls of the Reichenbach are unsurvivable. Sherlock Holmes survives them- at a cost.

Summary
“Shit,” Sam says, staring at the thin golden ring on his finger. He blinks quickly, like he’s pushing through it all: the hangover, the too-bright sunlight, the pure insanity of this moment. Bucky watches the dark curl of his eyelashes, staring for just a second too long.
Sam blinks again, then starts to laugh. “Shit. Well, I guess we’ll have to file for annulment.”
And maybe it’s the leftover buzz of the alcohol, or maybe it’s the way that Sam has started to feel like safety to him, but something makes Bucky blurt it out; he clears his throat and says, “Yeah, or we could just stay married.”

Summary
Let’s talk about a Susan who never moved on, who buried her family in English soil and spent the rest of her life trying to find her way home. She did not believe lions were kind, but she always remembered a bow in her schoolgirl hands.
She looked in every old wardrobe she came across. It was casual, everyday– the first day in a new lecture hall, she checked the back of the coat closet. Friends had her over for Christmas dinner and she excused herself to go the bathroom, checked every cabinet and closet, and then headed back in for pudding. She went home with a cute boy she met in a smoky little pub and she checked his wardrobe before she headed home the next morning, heels in hand.
She also went to college, got a political science degree she had to fight for. She got a byline in the local paper, a few ladies’ magazines, then a larger regional publication.
She had mimosa brunches with friends. She read detective novels, never touched fantasy, and finally one day she stepped through an old stone archway barely thinking about it and–-
She was standing in a treeless plain, all yellow grass and blue blue skies.
