Summary
A pressed flower falls from between the pages and flutters to the ground. Astarion watches it fall before putting the book away and picks up the flower to bring it up to his nose. It still has a smell. Astarion brushes it over his lips. Did you want him to find this? Did you think of him when you picked it? He hopes you did.
Or: Astarion is a possessive klepto who idealizes you. He can’t help himself from pilfering your things and adding them to his growing collection while he imposes all his hopes and dreams on you.
