At first Cole startles, and he's just happy his reflexes don't kick in and punch Jay in the face.
Jay doesn't even seem to notice Cole's distress. His face is relaxed, head leaning against one arm to get more comfortable. The fond smile shows as much in his eyes as in the quirk of his lips. Like he is looking at a kitten or a fluffy duckling. Not big, rough and sweaty unshaven Cole.
"Hey." He says, voice as soft as his gaze.
"Hey," Cole responds, his just-woke-up voice as croaky and throaty as a frog with a cold.
And he'll blame that sleepiness when he doesn't immediately react to push him off when Jay leans in and kiss him.----------------------
On a mission to a foreign island Jay is bitten by a "love bug" and now he's entirely sure he's in love with Cole for at least a couple of weeks. The whole situation would be a lot easier to deal with if Cole wasn't also already in love with him.

"I'm trying to figure this out." Older Catra’s eyes flickered to her younger counterpart, eyes sad. "Did you just rescue me off of Prime’s ship?" She asked the group.
Catra’s eyes flickered down, her hand moving to her neck to rub the spot where the chip used to be embedded. That was answer enough for Older Catra.
"Yeah, we’re going to need a plan to preserve the timeline. And we need to defeat Prime again. And I need to get back to my own time!" She groaned loudly, disturbing the small child in her arms who let out a cry. She automatically started swaying side to side, moving her tail to distract the baby. "Shit Finn, you really know how to start trouble for Mama, huh." She almost cooed as she looked down at the kid in her arms.
The spaceship was so quiet everyone would hear a pin drop.
"Wait, so that baby is yours?" Adora looked like her brain broke, she’d been suspiciously quiet since older Catra and the child appeared.
OR
Catra and Finn end up traveling back in time while the battle with Prime rages on. Catra and Adora have a lot of feelings about this.
