Harvey Specter doesn’t do emotions. He does control. He does power. He does winning. But he doesn’t do emotions, not the messy kind, not the kind that sneak up on you in the middle of the night and certainly not the kind that make you break down in front of someone else.
That’s why, when Mike—brilliant, irritating, loyal Mike—wraps his arms around him in the doorway of his condo at one in the morning, Harvey expects to do what he always does. Brush it off. Laugh. Crack a joke. Something.
Except he doesn’t.
Instead, something inside him breaks.

“So," Donna starts, her voice gentle but probing. "Are you finally going to explain why Mike’s apartment still looks exactly the same as the day they left, and why you’re spending your evenings here?”
Harvey sighs, looking up at Donna, hoping his eyes don't betray just how exhausted he feels.
“Mike asked me to rent it out for them when they left," he admits. "I never did. I created a fake tenant, and I’ve been paying rent ever since.”
Donna doesn't blink. "In case he comes back.”
Harvey nods.

Missing (sort of) scene or Coda to 'Oni kalalea ke ku a ka la'au loa', S8 Ep11 (because Charlie's reaction about his Uncle Steve means something). It means even more to Danny.
I guess this might be considered pre-slash, at least on Danny's part with where some of his thoughts seem to wind up. Though I guess, those thoughts could be considered smarmy, drug-induced thoughts too.

The world's really out to get him, Danny decided. Steve finally returns to Hawaii after 3 months, but an epic car chase, a broken cell phone, and a lot of bad luck prevent Danny from catching up with him. Meanwhile, Steve just wants to talk to Danny and set things right so he can finally go to bed.

Danny had his daughter for a measly twelve hours during Christmas. Though he’s determined to make the most of it, it’s kinda hard to enjoy Christmas when all he can think about are holidays back when his family was whole. Meanwhile, Steve's spending his first Christmas in his childhood home since his dad sent him away. No one should spend Christmas alone, but it was probably better than spending it in the ER, right? Set post 1x12.
