Summary
Rumi is a remnant tiger spirit of old and one of remaining last true demon-kin to walk beneath the heavens. Jinu, a jaded and begrudgingly sentimental guhimo, decides to be her protector and rallies behind Gwi-Ma’s revolution to reclaim a safe haven for their kind no matter the casualties that make the cost.
In search of balance, the honmoon creates itself a soul.

Lux almost frazzled at the edges.
"Look I know it’s not exactly your agenda to do the right thing or whatever the point of this blasé antihero persona you’ve got going on is. But it’s not like you’re just a bystander in all of this - Aspects, you started a civil war for Independence and won."

The subtle seething burn that always seemed to accrue in Jinx's eyes struck Lux with a moment of trepidation. In all the time they had known each other, Lux had never spoken so directly with her second, and this was rapidly becoming the most significant conversation they had ever had.
Jinx leaned back and leveled her gaze with a misplaced air of honesty. That too, was new and unknown enough to pique Luxs' interest. "That’s all that war was, and if anyone tells you otherwise they’re trying to scam you." She shrugged. "City living’s just tough like that."

Summary
They've been dating for a little while now, Rumi taking babysteps with affection. And Zoey and Mira have the patience to give Rumi her space and let her discover at her own pace.
Doesn't mean they can't have fun along the way. Every first Rumi experiences with one of them (or both at the same time) is a point - so who can gather the most points?----
Everytime Rumi experiences a first in their relationship Zoey and Mira brag about it against each other. This led to keeping score who has the most firsts (without pushing Rumi ofcourse).

Summary
So mostly it seems like Rumi’s doing well. She wears her patterns openly, almost defiantly. She stops locking herself away in her room. When she wakes in the middle of the night, breathless and panicked from haunting dreams, she lets Zoey find her and guide her to Mira’s room so they can all crawl into bed together, Rumi sandwiched in the middle.
But there are some moments when she loses herself a little, when Zoey can see her teeth clench and her eyes glaze over. Moments when her breath shakes, and she presses her nails so deep into her palms that they come away bloody.
She won't talk to them when it happens.
(After the Honmoon is sealed, Rumi seeks out Celine one last time.)

“Have you heard of the 3-3-3 rule?” Beatrice asks, breath a warm wash against the side of Ava’s throat. Her hands have never stopped moving. One splays over the Halo, steady and grounding. The other is wrapped around Ava’s, thumb tracing the network of veins at her wrist, that look bluish-black in the sun.
