Summary
Turtle brothers Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo just got used to being a team again when Splinter shakes things up by making Leo the new leader without warning. They need to learn how to deal with the changing dynamics of their team, family, and their ever-evolving powers as old threats get stronger, relationships are tested, and their wacky misadventures get wackier and more TV-13 instead of TV-Y7.
(A fan-centric passion project that takes place right where Season 2 ended and will finish before the ROTTMNT movie, which will also be rewritten as a continuation of this project. There are 34 episodes with 4 mini-sodes.)
Updates with a new episode every Monday and Friday until completed.

Leo waited very carefully until he had left their room and his footsteps quietly disappeared into the living room. Once he was absolutely certain, he groaned loudly, “we’re so all going to get sick.”
“What? Says you. I have a phenomenal immune system!”
“What?” Leo laughed, “you who was the first to catch chicken pox?”
Raph sat up with an evil glint. “Says the guy who gagged over Donnie getting in the way of my sai!”

It was a totally normal mission until Mikey is knocked out cold. And unfortunately, Leo is too much of a mother hen to notice that he also is gravely injured....
"Leo almost bit through his tongue at the sudden jolt of pain. Oh yeah, he forgot that he had also been slammed into the same wall. He’d surely be feeling sore for the next couple of days. Despite the violent slow shudder along his shell, he let himself hug his baby brother tight."
