Summary
In the end it was simple: a decision as easy as breathing and a kiss that tasted like blood, like tears, like a decade of longing.
Standing atop the ruined precipice of Blighted Minrathous, Eira could not help but think that it was ending how it all began, bathed in the blinding green light of the Fade—but this time she was stepping into it, sure and resolute and unafraid. It was easier to be brave, anyway, with her hand tucked into the fold of Solas’s arm and the familiar warmth of his magic awash around her.
Eira follows Solas into the Fade. -

Summary
Senna saw her family.
She saw Sarevok and Helena and Orin and the whole sorry lot of them. And Bhaal—always, always Bhaal. Her father. Her father, her shared flesh, and in any other world the sheer injustice of it would have rendered them all to dust. It should have. The world should never have allowed it. She should never have existed at all.
But such was the world's way: Bhaal was a god and his spawn were doomed to murder and madness. Thus was the truth of it. Senna was a story mothers told their children to scare them to bed. The world did not care; it moved on. Children listened, and they slept, and they dreamed, and meanwhile Helena Anchev wrapped her hand around her daughter's throat.
Still reeling from her newfound freedom, Senna is haunted by the writings of Sarevok, the fate of Helena, and the ever-looming threat of Bhaal's influence.

Summary
Each movement was intricate. Each slip of a needle through a loop of yarn yielded little progress. He moved stitches between four needles and consulted measurements as he went. The yarn he wove was as thin as thread, the needles so small they cramped his hands.
But then there was the thought of what lay at the end of his troubles: a gift. He thought of it—made whole and fit for giving—and that was enough to carry him forward.
Solas knits Eira a gift.

Summary
Formerly Kinktober 2024, now broadened to include all of my smutty drabbles (including kinktober and other prompts).
Bite-sized smutty drabbles. Kinktober prompts are pulled from a few different Kinktober lists (a link to which you can always find in the drabble's summary), and follow no particular order. Expect mostly Dragon Age and solavellan specifically, but some other ships and fandoms might show up now and then.

Summary
"Isalathe?"
“Yes,” Solas says slowly. “There was once an order to everything, in the time of Arlathan. Even this. None in your clan spoke of this?”
“Spoke of what, ha’hren?” she pleads. “I’m so tired and nauseous and—” her insides clench uncomfortably, “hungry,” she gasps. “Please, Solas—if you can help me—"
"You are in heat, da’len,” he whispers. “There is only one thing that will bring you relief. You’ve seen the halla in spring, yes? It is no different.”
or: a solavellan heatfic.

Summary
“What would you demand?” She says, sweeping the thought from his mind. “If you were a god.”
If, he thinks, that one word louder than all the rest.
“I suppose it would depend what was being asked of me.”
“Your favor,” she tells him. “Your love.”
“Ah.” There’s a twist in his chest, like an arrow wrenched free, pain and relief all at once. “The heart of a god is not easily won. I would require yours in return.”
She laughs a little, as if he’s jesting. “That hardly seems equal. A mortal heart for a god’s?”
“Your heart,” Solas says, in a gentle correction. “For mine.”

Summary
“It needs curtains,” Ellana says firmly.
“Curtains?”
From his unsteady tone, it isn’t what he expected her to say.
Ellana nods with purpose. She has had a lot of practice with keeping up a calm, brave face until conditions improve.
“Curtains. Do you remember when we first got to Skyhold? What a mess it was? There were woodchucks under the foundation, three hundred years of raven droppings in the rotunda, and a spirit of compassion down in the field hospital trying to euthanize our soldiers. But Josephine looked around and said we needed to hang curtains, and by the end of the day, we were measuring for the drapers.”
