Summary
Curly blames himself. He thinks about Jimmy and him, him and Jimmy, about Earth and when they were kids. Jimmy hadn’t always been sick?
///
Jimmy stares at the offered hand before slapping it away and sitting up with a grimace. “That’s a stupid name,” he says bluntly.
Curly’s expression doesn’t falter. If anything, he seems amused. “Yeah,” he says lightly, “it kinda is.”
///
“It’s all right, Jimmy,” Curly said softly, a gentle smile gracing his face, threading his fingers through Jimmy’s hair in a mockery of comfort. “I’m going to fix it. It’s my responsibility as your friend, as your captain

Sure, she had told him—because what else could she do? Half out of hope, half out of desperation. She wasn’t asking for salvation, not really. She wasn’t naïve enough for that.Bookmarked by sweetfishsauce

Summary

Even when phone translated it’s still such a good read.
“He should have understood from the very beginning that a bird caught by force would never sing in a cage the same way it sang in freedom.”
Witchcraft, pure poetry. -

Summary
We all remember “Mouthwashing,” and what a bastard Jimmy was; he's a man who lashes out, consumed by fury and convinced the world has done him wrong.
However, in this alternate universe, that rage never makes it out. Instead, it festers inward. This Jimmy doesn’t scream. He doesn’t lash out. He’s quiet, steady, composed—always one step ahead in the cockpit, always double-checking his work even when it’s perfect. In fact, one might say he's competent, reliable, and even a model co-pilot.
But inside, he’s rotting.
Behind every practiced smile is a scream. Behind every successful mission is the gnawing certainty that it was just luck. And behind every reflection in the glass, there’s a fear he can’t quite name.
Still, he tells himself it’s fine. That he’s fine. Because no one wants the truth, not really—they want the version of you that can keep it together. So he plays the part, buries the weight, and keeps moving forward like that alone will be enough.
Of course, this can't last forever. And so one question remains: Can this Jimmy find a way back to himself? Or is it already too late—and all that’s left is how long he can hold it together before it all comes undone?
