Akihiko slides the phone back into his pocket, chewing his lip ring. “Fuck, I wish I had a cigarette,” he mumbles to no one as he pulls his hood up to shield him from the rain. He glances apologetically at the woman next to him before he ducks out of the train car and into the downpour.
He’s sopping wet by the time he’s standing in front of his house. Their house. He knows he should leave, shouldn’t have gotten off the train, should be at practice by now. Should be with Haruki by now. But as much as he enjoys playing the drums, he hasn't given up on the violin yet.

Summary
The first time a dead rat was left on his doorstep Yoshiki gasped and then prodded it with a stick when it didn’t immediately run into his house. When he realized it wasn’t going to move, he grabbed it by the tail and buried it out back in a cardboard box he found in the burnables bin. He was glad he was the one to find it and not his mama or Kaoru.
Something is leaving Yoshiki gifts, and he resolves to get to the bottom of it.

“Lu Guang! You can’t say it’s a gross misuse of our powers. We’re not going back to prevent a catastrophe or to even change anything!” Cheng Xiaoshi pleads, pitifully.
“What have I walked in on here?” Qiao Ling is used to their antics, but she is dying to know what has Cheng Xiaoshi so worked up that he is actually begging Lu Guang for something.
Cheng Xiaoshi rubs the back of his neck before climbing to his feet. He kicks at the spot in the rug now wrinkled by the imprints of his knees.
When he doesn’t speak, Lu Guang answers for him. “He can’t find the remote control.”
Or: the boys are idiots, and Qiao Ling finds it equal parts amusing and exhausting.

Summary
It's that time of year again, and pancake_snacc challenged me to do this with them once more, so here we are. Last year, we decided to use the strictest definition of the word "drabble," and could not exceed 100 words. There is no such rule this time, only a prompt list we found from like 2015. I wanted to venture into new fandoms a bit, so I hope there's something in here that you enjoy!
Works may range from a couple hundred words to about 1000, depending on how much time I have on any given day.

“Seriously though, Ji,” Hyunjin continues as if the conversation hadn’t just unlocked Jisung’s worst memories of walking in on his best friends in various compromising positions. “If you really want help, why don’t you try out a heat assistant?”
“A what?” Chan chokes out.
Jisung can feel Hyunjin’s eye roll without looking in his direction. “A heat assistant, hyung. There’s rut assistants too, you know. It’s totally normal.”(or: Jisung's heats are becoming unbearable, and at Hyunjin's suggestion, tries out an app that assigns heat assistants. His assistant is the last person he'd expect.)

“Do you kiss whoever you want?”
He pauses, and Jeongin suddenly wonders if he had gone too far this time. There’s a contemplative silence between them before Seungmin’s eyes darken at the edges. “I think if it was someone I wanted, it’d mean something to me.”
There’s something about the way he says it that makes a fire burst in Jeongin’s gut and burn down his veins until he’s dizzied with it. Flames flicker against his eyes and he blames them when his sight goes blurry. He vaguely notices his hands twisting into the material of Seungmin’s hoodie and Seungmin’s own hands running up his legs.
"Can I kiss you?"
or, Jisung describes Minho's love like he's drowning in it, so Jeongin doesn't understand why Seungmin leaves him feverish.
