Akari dies during the day of the red sky, fighting her way, alone and without guidance, up to a storm of divine wrath, determined to prove herself worthy for people who should be worth so little to her, determined to save the people who refuse to save her, the warden of the cliffs finds her body, black hair slick like oil in a pool of blood, crumpled at the bottom ofYoung Akari is fine. It would be absurd to imply otherwise. Look at her, she’s standing right there, isn’t she? Perfectly healthy and safe. Her eyes were always that shade of almost-luminescent lavender ice, yes. Just like Ingo’s. Quirk of rift travel, perhaps. Everything is fine. Absolutely everything is fine. Shouldn’t we be worrying more about the sky? And speaking of Warden Ingo, what’s keeping him, anyhow?

Summary
If one suspects strangers of causing the apocalypse, one generally should not allow them to continue to roam free. They should ideally be restrained until their innocence (or guilt) can be proven. Even if one of them is a child and openly sobbing at the thought of her only family hating her. Even if the other one's absence is probably going to be noticed by a very large, very dangerous Pokémon.
Elsewhere, the rift spits out a man in white. He's not her Warden, but Sneasler will take all the help she can get in finding him.

Summary
Ordinarily, selling off the treasured possessions of one’s family is frowned upon. Especially if said family have yet to actually die. Ingo sold his brother’s soul to a Chandelure when he was ten years old, though, and it has yet to be a point of contention. Maybe because he threw his own into the bargain, too.
But a lack of argument doesn't necessarily mean a lack of consequences—which he discovers rather quickly in Hisui, having forgotten the terms of the deal he made in the first place.
