Mike’s eyes flicked towards Will, hope blooming behind them.
“You think.. We can go there?”
Will nodded slowly, “Tomorrow night. Just us.”
Mike shivered, but it surely wasn’t from the cold. For the first time in what felt like months he felt alert, aware, and strangely alive.
Maybe he could find the answers he was looking for in that church. Or maybe he was falling right into Vecna’s hands. He couldn’t bring himself to care much.

This had earned a few seconds of silence from the other. “We’ll always have each other.” Will shot back softly, smiling up at the boy next to him.
