He thinks you're just a study partner who tolerates his nerdy references. You know you're about to become the fatal error in his code. After all, a man with a genius-level intellect is still just a man—and this one is so touch-starved that a single hug is enough to blue-screen his entire thought process.

“What’s the line, Shoto?” Katsuki asks, pressing. He needs it defined, needs it solid. “Where’s the boundary? Is it kissing deeply? Is it under the clothes? Where do we stop?”
Another long pause. He can almost hear Shoto thinking, can picture the slight frown, the distant look in his stupid eyes.
“The line,” Shoto says slowly, “is anything that would damage our working relationship after this ends. Anything that would make it impossible for us to be partners when we walk away. That’s the only boundary that matters.”
So it's not a physical boundary. It’s an emotional one. Feelings. And that's so much more dangerous.

"Fuck, not now!" Bakugou hissed angrily, ducking into an alleyway as his stomach cramped up viciously. He was early, his Heat was early. Tears pinpricked his vision, half in pain and half in frustration. He needed to get home but his phone was dead and the walk home would grow more and more impossible the longer he tried. He stumbled to his feet, nausea making his cramping stomach roll uncomfortably. He shrunk back against the brick wall of the building behind him for a moment.
