“Can I tell you all my secrets? Huh?” Toji asked, quietly, as Naoya started putting fluffy purple weeds into his waiting palm. “You promise to keep them all?”
To his amusement, Naoya tapped his chin and pretended to think. Where had he even picked that up? Finally, he nodded decisively.
Toji tilted his head. “Do you even know what secrets are?”
Another nod, his eyes narrowed, as if to say “Obviously.” He started handing over the fuzzy green leaves next. He was so cute. It was really annoying.
“Okay. Here’s my first secret,” Toji said, “I think I’d probably kill everyone here except you, if I could.”
After saving Naoya's life, Toji is tasked with keeping him company.
