Summary
“Huh”, Peter marvelled softly, head tilted to the side, akin to that of a puppy as he watched the sun bathe the piano in a gorgeous, warm light, bringing out the beautiful staining and intricate carving even more if that was possible. “I like it better here”, he murmured, fingers twitching as he continued to stare at it.
“Yeah?” Tony hummed, arms uncrossing to throw one around Peter’s shoulder, ruffling his short curls as he did so. “Me too, the lighting in the penthouse didn’t do it any favours. It looked good, but now it looks like it actually belongs.”
“I know what you mean”, Peter nodded, clenching his hand into a fist and settling his head on Tony’s shoulder. “Did you ever end up learning how to play, Dad?”
“No, bud”, he murmured, reaching out with his left hand to tap one of the keys, Peter cringing at how out of tune it was, Tony nodding in agreement.
Or
Peter plays the piano; Tony just doesn't know it yet. And playing fixes something inside of him.

Summary
As his dad liked to say, sometimes, it seemed like he had a giant ‘Kick me’ sign on his back.
Because Peter found himself standing in front of MIT, only it looked very different from how it had two weeks ago when he had a private tour. It looked more like what his dad had shown him photos of from his MIT days.
Which could only mean one thing.
Or
Peter gets sent back in time by an evil sorcerer and ends up at MIT in nineteen-eighty-six. Just his luck, the first person he sees is a younger version of his Uncle Rhodey.
Tony Stark, however, is not happy he has to time-travel to save his son (again).

“What happened to your sweatpants and dumb t-shirts?” Marcus piped up from the other end of the classroom, deciding to butt in on the conversation.
“They’re in the wash, thank you very much,” Peter sighed, dropping his bag and plopping unceremoniously into his seat, Ned sliding in directly next to him and MJ at a separate desk on his right. He was slightly offended that Marcus thought his t-shirts were stupid. “Also, they’ve now been officially restricted to lab-only clothing. Look out, Midtown High, here comes the new and improved Peter Parker!”
The jazz hands did not sell it.

The new school year after the blip has started, and while a lot of things have changed, the most noticeable is how Peter Parker is now different.

“Damn straight you will”, Tony grunted, arms crossed as he glared. “Or I’ll have your head and display it as a trophy, or maybe a cautionary tale.”

Steve expected the aftermath to be calmer, especially since everyone seemed to be alright, physically at least.
What he was not expecting was for Tony to come into the room yelling at a certain Sorcerer Supreme.

“I’m really here, kiddo,” Tony murmured, carding a hand through Peter’s brown curls. “And I’m never leaving. You can’t get rid of me that easily.”
“Wouldn’t want to anyway,” Peter shook his head, closing his eyes as the relief just washed over him.

Tony does fix it. He does get his baby back, and his family is whole now.

The media eats it up, and Tony rolls with it, because why not? It's good PR. The narrative writes itself. And everyone loves a good redemption arc... All he had to do was borrow the kid, smile for the cameras, and hand him back when the buzz dies down. Easy. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
Peter wasn't a genius, sure he was smart but he wasn't a genius. Although if someone asked his dad, Tony Stark, if Peter Stark was a genius he would say yes without hesitation. Over the years he built and fixed a lot of stuff. He completed his first Lego set at age 4, made his first circuit board at 5, could understand Uncle Bruce research of gamma radiation at age 6, he was very proud of his Lego set and showed it to his Dad once he came home from a conference meeting. He still didn't think he was a genius like his dad though.
Apparently his kidnappers thought differently
