I intend to make the absolute most of my newfound freedom.” Aziraphale blinks, and Crowley could swear he saw something wicked surface and disappear in those pale blue eyes of his. “Dearest, you can close your mouth now. You look quite like a fish out of water.”
Crowley does close his mouth. “I—you—I just—I was not expecting you to agree so quickly.”
Aziraphale steps closer to him, putting a hand on his cheek. “Why would I ever deny you something you want?” Crowley decides to be gracious and not point out Aziraphale has a long history of doing exactly that. But that was before. This is now.

“Some modestly, for Hell’s sake,” he hissed at the pair. Ducks do not care about modesty, however. Nor did a number of young, underclad humans he spied on blankets in the surprising London sunshine. Amazing the way they popped up on lawns with picnics the minute even a pretense of summer suggested itself. Bodies all over the place. Eating, mostly. And doing a preamble to what the ducks were up to, he supposed. Complicated stuff.…in which Crowley and Aziraphale consider a body problem from very different angles.

It takes a little over a month.
Plus six thousand years, give or take. If Aziraphale had let himself think on it, he would have expected it sooner. Six thousand years is an awfully long time but the handful of weeks at the end take much longer.
There are a lot of things he hasn’t let himself think on, it seems. They make themselves known all at once, when Aziraphale stumbles upstairs into the flat above his bookshop to find Crowley sleeping.

Crowley and Aziraphale keep kissing, and every time they do, through a series of misunderstandings and misdirections, Aziraphale walks away with the impression that it didn't mean anything. Crowley, as usual, only has himself to blame.

An unusual customer walks into Anthony Crowley's flower shop with a very specific request. AU, series, complete, angst with a happy ending.

Aziraphale doesn't feel guilty, for once, but has some things to confess.
Crowley doesn't think he has guilt, and doesn't plan to confess anything. On both counts, he's wrong.
