Duo has lived a pretty charmed, shoujo manga protagonist sort of life. The ups are pretty tame, and the downs are pretty ridiculous. But he wasn't entirely prepared when, on his last year of high school, a chance encounter with a stranger on the street who helps him help a dying old woman get medical assistance, propels him into a life and romance that actually felt like he was the protagonist of a badly written shoujo manga plot.
