“Now why are you putting words in my mouth, pretty boy?” Taehyung tilts his head again, no trace of anger on his gorgeous face.
Jeongguk hates him for being so composed all the time, so cold, stone hearted.
Hates him because he thinks of himself too highly, acts like he owns the world, makes everyone walk on eggshells around him.
Jeongguk also hates himself for loving just how gorgeous the alpha is, how he is not immune to his features either. Hates how his heart skips a beat when he watches Taehyung play with his dog, when the alpha walks his nieces, making the children giggle every step of it.
Hates himself for getting butterflies even at the tiny glances Taehyung grants him.
Jeongguk is a weak man, but his weird infatuation with the alpha is nowhere near the hatred he feels for him. It's a weird mix of emotions, but Jeongguk manages.
“You are insufferable Taehyung-ssi, I have no idea how people even deal with your attitude” Jeongguk lets out a chuckle “I'm sure if roles were reversed, you wouldn't even last a month as a waiter here”.

Summary
Jeon's and Kim's have been rivals for generations now, both families owning companies in the same field, both of them being immensely successful and wealthy, caused the families to be each other's rivals for decades. The fact that they lived right across each other didn't help either.
Taehyung and Jungkook were the successors of both families and they proudly continued to compete against each other and not let the other one take the lead. Jungkook hated Taehyung with all his might, the older boy was getting on his nerves with every chance he got. They were always on the same level with everything they tried to do, they even had the same group of friends, but when during Japan school trip the opportunity arose to finally beat his sworn enemy at something, Jeon Jungkook was not going to back down.
Little did he know that, the said competition would be a start of something new in his life... (and that his sworn enemy would soon become someone he would yarn for)
