Basically what I would’ve done if I wrote Season 1 and Season 2. At the HSM play, Ricky only did Getcha Head In The Game then gives it to EJ to do the rest. Ricky doesn’t do Breaking Free with Nini, EJ does. And the whole love confession in the rehearsal room never happens, instead Ricky basically tells Nini that he has feeling for Gina now. Soooo yeah :)

Summary
If the sound of her bedroom window sliding open hadn’t woken Gina up, the footsteps creeping towards her bed definitely would have. As Gina’s eyes open wide, she’s faced with her alarm clock, it’s 2am.
Gina’s eyes scrunch up and she momentarily freezes… “Ricky?”, she whispers into the void of her pitch-black room.
“… Yeah.” He answers back quietly and Gina sighs in relief, finally sitting up in her bed.
“Jesus… you can’t sneak up on me like that.” Her eyes begin adjusting to the darkness and she can now just about make out her boyfriend’s features. Faintly, she hears Ricky kick off his shoes.
“I’m sorry…” This time she hears his voice crack.

Her uncle Cash Caswell is the wealthiest man in the city, only rivalled by the Bowens, but Gina and her mother wanted nothing to do with him for his money always came with strings attached. Gina and her mom managed just fine together until the incident. It was the first - and hopefully only - time they had to ask uncle Caswell for help.
Gina was thrown into a world that she absolutely hated of rich snobs and a century old rivalry between the Caswell family and the Bowen family. And then there was this cute boy with the curly brown hair and the mischievous smile.

“Gi?” Ricky’s voice is soft as he doesn’t want to startle her “hey, what’s wrong?”
Gina just groans and shifts on her back tilting her head up so she can look at him. Her eyes are red, partially open but enough so he can see the glint of annoyance in them. She looks really pale under the dim light of the late afternoon evening and Ricky can see her shiver underneath the blanket.
She really looks terrible.
Ricky is stunned for a second, heart racing at the sight of her sniffles and shaky nose. He has never seen Gina like this before. So out of it.
Gina always looks perfectly put together. She is elegant, she is graceful and absolutely flawless in every situation. Always calm and collected, never one to complain or stay in bed for too long -Ricky obviously is the opposite; messy and lazy always all over the place. That’s probably what makes them great partners.
Partners as roommates, obviously.
Gina Porter is the embodiment of perfection in Ricky's eyes. It had never ever even crossed Ricky’s mind that she could get sick.

After my High School Musical The Musical The Series Season 4 story. Everyone is out of high school and starting their adult lives. This story is more realistic than any other fic I've done, and my inspiration came from the tv show A Different World. The Wildcats deal with real life problems such as racism, sexual harassments, anxiety, virginity or sex, cheating, money issues, stress from fame etc. The story also has a bit of smut in it. I mean being that they are college students in their twenties, sex was going to eventually come up. If you are not comfortable with the amount of smut there is, I will have a warning before each chapter that involves it. I rated this mature because there will be some choice language also the chapters that involve sex, harassments and mainly racism will have some choice phrases/words. Now this is called Ricky & Gina: A Different World meaning that it would be solely focused on the lives of Ricky and Gina. This is a Disney MU meaning there will be some appearance from characters from other shows. Such as Ross Lynch (Austin and Ally), Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things) etc.
