Summary
Megumi can’t escape the burn in his chest and crumbles before his “best friend” Yuji for the first time. In the months after, he runs to Yuji because that's all he can think to do. Through school, sport, and sleep he cannot shake this feeling but doesn't want to admit to himself why.

The name alone has Yuji bristling. The hairs on the back of his neck stand, scarred skin prickling from all the injuries he has that person, that curse to thank for. Memories of that battle are nothing more than fury-inducing to him. The visions of Megumi with dark ink on his body haunt his nightmares.
“What happened?” He channels the calmest tone he can utter, but he has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Yuji's grip tightens on Megumi's kneecaps. Something fiery and dangerous is boiling in his gut.
“Yuji.” Megumi responds, his tone a warning.
“Tell me what happened.” Yuji demands now.OR
Megumi never tells Yuji about the bath, the ritual that caused him to develop aquaphobia. When he nearly drowns during a mission his very serious fear and unhealthy tendencies are exposed.
