    “Oh Ed, it’s beautiful,” Stede whispered, letting go of Ed’s hand and wandering into the campsite. “You’ve been setting this all up the last few days?”
    “Yep,” Ed grinned, warmth spreading out through his chest as he watched the wonder on Stede’s face. “Roach has made sure we have plenty of supplies to get us through, and I’ve got some stuff planned for us to do while we’re here too.”
    Stede walked back up to Ed, placing his hands on his face and drawing him into a kiss. “I love you so much,” he said, softly.
    Ed smiled, “And I love you too.”

    Ed was head over heels in love with Stede Bonnet. After months of preparation, he’d finally managed to get him onto a desert island for a week, just the two of them. He has A Plan, and he’s going to romance the hell out of Stede.

    "They tried to kiss me, Stede." He chuckled into the shell of Stede's ear and it sent another shiver down him.

    "Oh?" Stede asked quietly, breathlessly.

    Edward nodded and Stede could feel the movement of it against his neck, the soft brush of beard tickling him. "But I said, 'You're not the Gentleman Pirate!' and they sod right off."

    Stede's heart and mind were both racing. "How interesting," was all he could manage in reply, and he felt Ed's arms tighten around him.

    "Yeah, you are. Can't deny that."
