Being the only known Galra / Terran hybrid is bullshit. All he gets are ‘probably’s. Probably he’s done growing even if he’s still a runt by Galra and Terran standards. Probably fangs and claws and cat-eye pupils are a stress response instead of a long-term development. Probably he’s going to go through a second fucking puberty because he hasn’t developed any of the secondary sex characteristics most Galra acquire.

Keith laughs. “I don’t even know. And what was with everyone laughing about it after? They were acting like they already knew everything.”
“Pssh,” Shiro dismisses, dropping the game controller beside him to wave Keith off, “they’re just faking to make themselves look good. As if they know better than the teachers.”
“Right?!” Keith agrees. His breath comes a little easier now that he knows he and Shiro are on the same page. “And like, half of that didn’t even sound real.”
“I know,” Shiro nods enthusiastically.
“Like…” Keith pretends to cast about for an example, though he knows exactly which part he wants to say. The part he can’t stop thinking about. “…knots? That’s so weird, that can’t be real.”
Shiro stops nodding abruptly at that and gives Keith a look like he’s the weird one. “What? No, knots are normal. But what they were saying about omegas? How they…” his voices tips down into a whisper, “get wet?”
